Listening Hour

A monthly 2-hour connection and empathy space currently hosted by people who have experience in NVC, for anyone interested in Non-Violent Communication (NVC).

This is not a workshop but a peer listening space. No need for formal training although we recommend you do a Foundation training in NVC.

Come if you want to practice listening. Come if you’d enjoy a listening ear. As it’s a peer listening space, the Listening Hour is not suitable if you are going through significant emotional upheaval or for processing trauma. For more information about this group, click here.

To book a space, please visit the Eventbrite page.

Mending Circle

Mending Circle is a gentle un-facilitated space to mend textiles. It is to promote a low impact living, shared love and care for ourselves as well as what we have, or just simply to savour the joy of communal hand-sewing activities while sharing a pot of tea.

Bring clothes you’d want to mend. Threads and needles are provided. We do hand-sewing only.

Everyone is welcome, no previous experience is necessary. For more information about this group, click here.

Dying Well

Dying Well sessions are an opportunity for a deeper exploration of topics related to Death and Dying, covering a wide range of practical, spiritual and psychological aspects.

Topics, sometimes facilitated by a guest speaker, are for example: what a good death might be and what preparations may help achieve this; what support and services may be of assistance; how to cope with someone’s death and your feelings of loss and grief; and importantly how an acceptance of death helps us to live life more fully.

Everyone is welcome. We invite you to join us in our safe and respectful space as we explore together this difficult to talk about but very important subject.

This is a drop in session. However, as space is limited you can also reserve a place via Jamyang’s website.

For more information about this group, click here.
